Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds explain why Wolverine survived Logan's death in Deadpool 3

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds teased Wednesday night a new update on Deadpool3. As Jackman's Wolverine died in Logan 2017, the actors explained how Deadpool 3 would proceed.

Deadpool 3 is scheduled for release on September 6, 2024. Shawn Levy will direct the film, who previously worked with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman on Real Steel. Jackman and Reynolds will both be making their debuts in the MCU with this movie. However, it is expected that Wolverine will continue to be recast.

Reynolds is a complicated actor. One shouldn't expect to get a straight answer. The actors shared a new video that showed them sitting together and acknowledging that there would be many questions. "Logan takes place in 2029, completely separate thing not touching that ...". They then go on to explain the film's plot, but music begins playing, and we see them gesticulating wild---so we don't really know much about the plot.

Ryan Reynolds captioned his video: "Quick explainer that tackles... 1) Timeline Questions 2) Logan Canon 3) MCU FAQ 4) Whether or not we can do it all day."

Reynolds shared a video early Wednesday morning in which he explained that he had done serious soul-searching about Deadpool 3 but still came up with "nothing". Reynolds walks behind a man and asks him: "Hey Hugh. Want to play Wolverine once more?" Hugh replies, "Yeah. Sure, Ryan."

Hugh Jackman was rumored to have retired in 2017 from his role as Wolverine, and fans believed they would never see him again. Logan was actually murdered and put to rest.
